Neurodivergent Artist Collective began in the Spring of 2023, originally supported by the Community Arts Council of Vancouver. From there, we participated in two gallery exhibitions: the Vancouver Outsider Arts Festival and The Gallery George. As of Spring 2025, we are an independently organized group of seven with multiple art disciplines and three past accepted art grants to facilitate art workshops as well, most recently at the James Black Gallery in February 2025. Our current art projects tend to involve textile arts, painting media, found objects, and technology. We intend to dismantle invisible inequities in contemporary art spaces, having been alienated by access and socio-economical barriers in the contemporary arts sphere, so we may establish a fresh creative vision of what art looks like as openly neurodivergent artists of various cultural and gender-sexuality identities on the unceded Coast Salish lands of the Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh and Squamish First Nations. You may find more of our artwork online via our IG.
